Children & Youth

From weekly Bible stories in the Nursery to the Baccalaureate service for our seniors, Parkway Hills UMC is focused on developing our youngest members as they grow and mature.

Newborn to 4 - Our Nursery and Preschool rooms are on the second floor of the Worship Center. Nursery workers give love and attention to each little one, and our Preschool Sunday School class is led by volunteers using the lectionary-based Whirl curriculum, which includes a Bible story each week with activities and crafts to reinforce the lesson.

Ages 5 through 11 - These Sunday School classes meet in The Garden, which is in the Education Building. Again, the lectionary-based Whirl curriculum is used. This curriculum is kid friendly and is adapted to the children as they grow.

Youth - Junior high (grades 7-8) and senior high (grades 9-12) students meet each Sunday in the Youth Suite on the second floor of the Education Building.
