This retreat is great because it’s cheap and offers a host of great things in regards to missions in our community and city of Jackson.

The deadline to let me know if your Student is going is Feb 19^th. Please encourage them to go!

Sunday nights are back in full swing! Every Sunday night we will be meeting at the usual time from 5-7 and dinner will be served at 6:30. We will also be having a theme/ series each night with different topics. Below are the dates of the series as well as a brief description what they will be about!

Jan18, 22, 29: Our first series is called Hearing from God. We will be looking people in scripture and throughout history who heard God’s voice, how they heard His voice, and actually did what He told them to do!
Feb 5, 12, 19, 26: The second series we will be looking at is called FEAR: worry, anxiety, and control. This series will look at what fear is and why we as Christians struggle with it. We look at what God’s word says about it and what we can do about it!
March 18, 25, & April 1: Series three will be dealing with SPEAKING UP! : finding your inner voice. The whole premise of this series will be to take responsibly and tell the truth. We will be looking at clips from The Kings Speech to help guide us in what it means to stop blaming our circumstances and starting living from mind, body, spirit, and heart!
April 15, 22: The Forth series we will be looking at is titled Purpose: defining our mission, vision, and calling. We are all on a journey and in desperate need to find purpose in our lives. We will look at what God says about our purpose and hopefully equip our students with some skills and tools to begin to discover who God made them to be!
April 29, May 6, 13: The Fifth a final series for this semester is called REALTIONSHIPS: Sex, Dating, Marriage/Divorce, and Community. This series will look at all the ways we in which we are in relationship. We will be discussing and wrestling with some of the pressures our culture puts on relationships. We will also be addressing sex and the dating world, defining what sex is, its purpose, and what God designed it for. This series will also address marriage and divorce and hopefully give our students a framework for what God intended marriage to be.
May 20 – End of the year youth party!
No youth on Sunday nights: March 4^th and 11^th.
