elcome to Parkway Hills United Methodist Church. We are a 10 year old congregation located in one of the area's fastest growing communities. Committed to offering a fresh expression of God's love through worship, service, study and fellowship, we are a young and innovative church. And we invite you - searcher, churchgoer, or just a person trying to figure out what Christian faith is all about - to find here a place to worship and learn, to experience God and community, to grow and to serve in ways that are both traditional and new. A clue to who we are as a congregation is found in our unofficial motto: "We do best the things we do together." We currently have a preparatory roll of almost 200 children, a constituency roll of over 100, with a total population of almost 1000. Parkway Hills' church family works hard to maintain a small church atmosphere through small group studies, and service and fellowship events. Our ministry continues to grow as we add programs and activities to reach people of all ages. The first phase of our master building plan at our location - 1468 Highland Colony Parkway - was completed in April, 1999. After over four years of worshipping at Madison Central High School , the church had a home. We soon needed additional space for our ministries and activities. In 2003 we added a second major building to house our youth, music, adult education ministries and our staff offices. We have continued to grow numerically and spiritually in our relationship to God and to one another. The focal point of our church family is worship on Sunday morning when we offer both an 8:30 a.m. Blue Jean Service, where casual dress is appropriate for a service that blends contemporary and traditional worship, and a slightly more traditional 10:45 worship service. Between the two worship services we offer Sunday School for all age groups at 9:30. Parkway Hills UMC is a dynamic and exciting church with a warm and friendly congregation.
