Children's Ministries

The Pajama Program is one of the ministries our children work to support.  They have already collected over 100 pairs of pajamas which will be delivered to children in need in our area!  They are also donating books, so that these children will have a good book to read before being tucked into bed.  Learn more about this program on their website:

Our Kindergarten through Fourth Grade children also partner with Heifer International for an important Mission Project.  The animals we are able to send provide families with both food and reliable income.  For each animal received, families agree to pass on the offspring of that animal to another person in need.  These gifts will care for a whole community with milk, eggs, honey and wool.  They supply an abundance of goods to sell, provide livestock to work the land, and improve the lives of families for generations by multiplying and "Passing on the Gift".  This year we were able to provide chicks, fish, cows, goats, llamas, pigs, rabbits, sheep, water buffaloes, as well as tree seedlings and irrigation pumps.  Read more about the good work of Heifer International on their website:

Sunday School

Parkway Hills kicks off a new Sunday School year with our Promotion Sunday Celebration!  August 7, 2016 is the day all children move up to their new classes, meet their new teachers, and make some new friends!  Parkway Hills Sunday School begins at 9:45 am and we have a place for everyone!

On Sunday, August 7th, we will continue our Celebration at Pump It Up!  Children up through the 6th grade, and their parents, are invited to join us from 4:00 - 6:00 pm to enjoy an afternoon of fun, including pizza and cake.  All activities are FREE, but you must register to attend by clicking here.

Here is our schedule for the 2016-2017 school year:

Nursery and preschool classes are all located on the second floor of our worship center.

Our Preschool class meets in Room 207 at the end of the hall.  The teachers for this class are Molly Kirk and Tiffni Woodward.  Our preschool class uses the Whirl curriculum, which is lectionary based.  They will have a Bible Story each week with activities and crafts to reinforce the lesson.

Our Kindergarten-5th Grade students meet in The Garden of the Education Building.
(Kindergarten-4th grade children use a traditional Sunday school curriculum from Whirl, which is kid friendly, and lectionary-based.)

Our Kindergarten and 1st Grade class meets in The Garden, Room 109.  Their teachers are Christine Morrison, Clayton and Laura Pickle, and Mary Lee Reed.
Our 2nd and 3rd Grade class meets in The Garden, Room 110.  Their teachers are Cynthia Gibbs, Kari Miller, and Marc and Stephanie Rolph.
Our 4th and 5th Grade Class meets in The Garden, Room 111.  They focus each week on topics relevant to the lives of older elementary students.  Their teacher are Linda Irby and Drew Pruett.
