Music Ministry

As we worship through song and music there are many opportunities to minister through the musical talents God has given us.  Others can be created.

Adult ChoirEach Sunday the Adult choir sings for the 10:45 service - The choir rehearses Sunday evenings at 6:00 p.m. and Sunday mornings, prior to the service, in the Choir Room.

Men’s EnsembleThis group meets regularly to prepare for singing at specific services and rehearses on Wednesday evenings.

Solo and Ensemble OpportunitiesThere are many opportunities for presentation of special music through solo and ensemble singing.

Jubilation Ringers  Parkway Hills now has a beautiful three-octave set of handbells, a gift that honors the memory and legacy of Robert M. and Emogene Fudge.  Come join us as we learn together how to glorify God with handbells!  Rehearsal on Thursday mornings at 9:00 am.

A.S.A.P. Actively Sharing Acts of Praise is a Youth Drama and Music ministry for Youth 7th-12th grade.   Youth meet weekly to prepare skits and music for services or special programs

Children’s Choirs meet as part of the Wednesday night programs each week beginning at 6 pm including the Tiny Tones, our 3 and 4 year olds, and Kindergarten through 4th graders.  Additionally, our PTY Choir (grades 5 and 6) meet at 6:30.  Each of these groups prepare songs and skits to be presented for specific Sunday morning services, Wednesday night programs as well as Christmas musicals and Spring programs.

Instrumental"Parkway Pickers" get together on Wednesday afternoons at 4:30 for a jam session.  All are welcome to come and make a joyful noise!  Our Music Ministry is always open for more participants.
