Upcoming Nurture Events: 
 
     Super Bowl Chili Cook off - February 1st

      Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper - February 24th at 5:30 pm

      Muffins in the Morning - March 22nd during the Sunday School hour

     Spring Break - Family Bowling (more information to come....)


You might ask, “What exactly does the Nurture Committee do?" Appropriately named, the Nurture Committee nurtures the congregation and is charged with “building community within the church by creating opportunities for members to become better acquainted with one another and helping them care for one another.”

This is done in a number of different ways – through fellowship events and caring ministries.

Fellowship events include activities such as:  Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, Family Night at Mississippi Braves Game, Family Bowling, Family Movie Nights, Advent Fair, Ice Cream Social and all other fellowship events.

If you have ideas to share about potentially fun and engaging fellowship events, we want to know about them. So let me hear from you OR if you’re looking for a way to get more involved at Parkway Hills, consider getting involved in this exciting new ministry:

The Care Ministry is a team of volunteers within the church who are willing to provide meals for families in times of need – whether it’s an illness, the death of loved one, or the birth of baby.  We are looking for a person or two to coordinate the Care Ministry as well as lots of volunteers to help provide the meals.  If you can help the Nurture Committee with this project please contact Tiffni Woodward, our Nurture Committee Chairperson, or Emily Carney, our Care Ministry Coordinator.
