There are many opportunities to be involved in Parkway Hills UMC music ministry and new ones may be created so that the musical talents God has given to all of us may be used in worship. Singers and musicians, speakers and performers are all invited to contact Philip Messner, Director of Music Ministry to participate in our exciting music ministries.

Adult Choirs

Soloists, Ensembles, Instrumentalists

Each Sunday the 10:45 service has a choir. They rehearse each Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. and each Sunday morning at 10:15 in the choir room in the education building.

There are frequent opportunities to present special music by soloists and ensembles during our Sunday worship and as well as in seasonal musical presentations. Persons who enjoy playing keyboard, guitar or other instruments are invited to participate in the music ministry.

Children's Choirs

Children's choir groups include the 3 & 4 year old Tiny Tone Choir and the K-4th Grade Choir.   These groups meet on Wednesday nights from 6 to 7 p.m. to prepare for specific Sunday morning worship services and to prepare a Christmas musical and a Spring musical. Directors and assistants for the children's choirs are volunteers who work under the direction of Music Director Philip Messner.
