Sunday School classes, Companions in Christ and Disciple groups, mission teams, ladies Bible study groups, men's events, fellowship events, seasonal celebrations, recreational teams - these are some of the ways that adults are involved in the nurturing, educating, serving and witnessing ministries of Parkway Hills UMC.

Parkway Hills UMC's adult Sunday School classes meet in the education building at 9:45 a.m. In addition to the following on-going classes - Discovery, Joy, Pathfinders, Grace, Hope, Fellowship, Odyssey, and Journey- Inquirer's Classes are held periodically for visitors and those wishing to know more about the United Methodist Church and Parkway Hills.

Small group ministries include Companions in Christ, a spiritual formation group, and Disciple, an in-depth Bible study, as well as the Beacons fellowship group for those over 50. We have used professional resource persons for special topical short-term workshops on how families cope with addictions and grief. New groups are added periodically.

Fellowship events include periodic potluck meals, Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, Summer Luau, Picnics, Thanksgiving meal, and various seasonal and recreational events and activities. Watch the calendar for these events.

Leadership for our ministry activities is provided by an active and involved congregation with guidance from the staff. Please contact the church office about participating in any of our ministries.
