Music Notes
Here is an opportunity to fulfill some of your New Year’s resolutions. The Adult Choir will begin rehearsing on January 7th at 6:30!! This is a great time to join us as we will be reading through all new music for the upcoming Sundays.
So if you have been away from the choir, or have been thinking about joining us in the music ministry of PHUMC, now is the time. It is a great time of singing, fellowship, worship and fun with many interesting people!!!

Hospice Ministries, a community based, not-for profit organization, is looking for caring individuals to work as volunteers with terminally ill patients and /or their families during a difficult time in their lives. The core of the hospice philosophy is that each person has the right to die free of pain and with
dignity, surrounded by compassionate family and friends. Trained hospice volunteers support the work of our caring professionals in providing this quality care, by offering emotional and administrative support along with companionship to patients and their families.
Our next volunteer training class will be held on Saturday, January 31st, 8:00am—5:30 pm, (lunch will be provided), and continues on Sunday, February 1st, from 12:30 pm—5:00 pm.

The PHUMC nursery is in need of several infant swings or bouncy seats in good working order. If you would like to donate one or more of these items to the church, please contact Angie Williams or Ann Allen.
